May 21
Officer responded to Hickory Trace Circle in reference to a broken driver’s side window on a vehicle. Complainant stated that he believed some of the neighborhood children may have caused the damage but was not certain.
Complainant and her 16-year-old daughter came to SPD to make a report. The juvenile stated that she had gone shopping to look around and speak with her friend. She then stated upon entering the store, the offender confronted her about liking a Facebook post someone had made. She stated that the offender continued to yell profanities at her and told her she needed to leave the store.
Complainant came into SPD to report harassment by offender. The offender was at SPD for court when c/p arrived to make the report. C/p stated that she was on the phone with her mother when offender began yelling at her and following her. She stated that a few weeks prior the offender came to her residence holding a baseball bat. On another occasion she also attempted to run her over with a truck.
Officer was dispatched to Ben Street in reference to vehicles driving fast in the neighborhood. C/p stated that three vehicles are seen driving at fast speeds every day in the neighborhood. She also stated that kids are often outside playing and riding their bikes and there is fear of those vehicles hurting a child.
Officer responded to Hickory Trace Circle in reference to a 911 hang up call. The caller was located and stated that she had her sons phone trying to fix it when the screen went back and started calling 911.
Officers were dispatched to Youngblood Street in reference to a domestic situation. While enroute, 911 advised that the female c/p stated that there were weapons involved then hung up. The male c/p stated that he and the female c/p had been together for a while, and he lived at the residence along with his son. His son came to him telling him what people were saying about him on the street. The female c/p stated she never told 911 about weapons being involved and was advised on how dangerous it is for officers and the public when emergency equipment is used.
Officers were dispatched to North Racetrack Street and West Church Street for shots fired. The call was determined unfounded for any offender.
911 dispatched officer to the area of Wells Street for loud music. The volume was determined to not be loud enough for interaction with residents.
May 22
Officer responded to Pine Street in reference to offered taking c/p’s phone. Upon arrival c/p’s kids had her phone and she stated that she believes the offender gave it to the kids when police arrived.
Officer responded to South Green Street in reference to a party with underage drinking. Upon arrival, a large number of juveniles were seen in the parking lot smoke and standing around. When officer was seen, several yelled “12” and began leaving the area quickly. As the officer approached the building, more juveniles began to leave and advised who was in charge of the party. Officer made contact with offender who rented the building and contacted her parents. They stated that did not know she was throwing the party, they thought she was only attending the party. She shut the party down, cleaned the building, and locked up.
May 23
Emanuel County 911 dispatched officers to The Wash Station in reference to an unwanted person. Upon arrival, officer discovered that the offender had already left the property. He was later located ad advised that the owner dd not want him on the premises.
Officer was dispatched to Rainbow Ridge in reference to an officer with the Toombs County Detention Center requesting that an officer make contact with a subject. It was advised that this subject had been assaulted by someone who was just released from the detention center.
Officer responded to Pinetucky Country Meats in reference to juveniles loitering the premises and then walking behind the store. upon arrival, the group was gone.
Officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to an unwanted person at the customer service desk. It was advised that offender was asked to leave but refused. The offender stated he had been waiting approximately two hours for a grocery pickup order. Walmart staff advised him they did not have an order under his name. They advised he began swearing at them. They stated they did not want him trespassed; they just wanted him removed from the store and property.
Emanuel County 911 advised officer that c/p had contacted the Mobile Crisis Hotline due to experiencing suicidal thoughts and wanting to harm himself. C/p met with officers and was voluntarily transported to the emergency room at EMC for evaluation.
May 24
Officer was dispatched to North Anderson Drive in reference to the caller stating that he believed a domestic dispute was occurring due to yelling and screaming, including hearing “let me go”. Contact was made with a 14-year-old girl who stated that the screaming was due to an argument between her and her boyfriend via cellular phone. She stated that no physical altercation occurred. She was observed with have self-inflicted superficial cuts on her right arm. When asked about the injuries, she stated that she had done it herself and also made comments that she did not want to live. The juvenile was turned over to EMS personnel and transported to the ER.
Officer was dispatched to Project Street in reference to the caller wanting to speak with an officer regarding a civil matter. C/p wanted to ask questions regarding what actions she could take to remove her husband from the residence.
May 25
Emanuel County 911 dispatched officers to East Pine Street in reference to a 911 hang up call. C/p stated that she wanted the offender removed from the residence. Upon entering the residence, the offender was observed lying on the couch. He complied and spoke with officers outside. offender left the scene to stay with his mother.
Officer responded to Roger Shaw Street in reference to a busted back glass door. The damage appeared to be done by a BB or pellet gun.
Officer was at the 911 center when a male came into the lobby of the building to report that a female was following him.
Officer received a call from a deputy in reference to a vehicle with no insurance, no registration, and the owner’s license being expired. A traffic stop was conducted, and the driver was cited for all violations, vehicle was towed.
C/p came to SPD to make a report for a custody dispute. She stated that her husband was not wanting to return their daughter back to her. She stated they were in the process of getting a divorce and she felt as if he was mentally unstable.
Officer responded to Lucky Street in reference to a 911 hang-up call. A female stand that no one in the household called 911 and everyone had been asleep.
May 26
Officers were dispatched to Hickory Trace Circle in reference to a domestic that already occurred in which her son’s girlfriend threw her camera down. C/p stated that the offender who has a baby with her son was in an argument with her earlier at the gas station. She stated after she got home the offender came to her house and covered the ring camera up with her hand and tore it off.
Officers were dispatched to Emanuel Medical Center in reference to a patient that had escaped. It was stated that the patient had a 10-13 due to self-harm thoughts.
May 27
Officers were on the area of Williams and North Coleman due to reports of shorts fired. Negative contact was made.
Officer responded to Project Street in reference to a stolen vehicle key. C/p stated that she left her vehicle key in the open drawer of a table located on her porch. She believes her husband may have taken the key due to the two being separated.
Officer responded to SPD in reference to a walk-in report. C/p stated that she and her husband are separated and have agreed to a split custody arrangement without court involvement. She stated that the juvenile’s older brother and his friend were staying with her husband. She stated that the friend and her juvenile daughter engaged in intercourse and she wanted to pursue charges due to the offender being in his 20s.
Officer took a walk-in report at SPD. C/p’s stated that they wish to make a report regarding their neighbor due to ongoing harassment concerning their dogs. Both parties advised that when they first moved into the residence, their neighbor advised them to make sure their dogs did not enter her property. They stated that when they would let their dogs out, they would stay outside with them, the neighbor would park their vehicle in the front yard, open all of the doors, and walk around the vehicle while watching them.
Officers responded to Crump Street in reference to an unruly juvenile. C/p stated her son has autism and that he became irate when she told him and his other siblings to put their electronics away and do some chores. She stated that he began yelling and threatening to hurt her. She stated that her father was on the way to pick him up and take him to Macon for the summer.
Officers responded to Waller Pass due to an offender not allowing animal control to take her animals. It was found that she received a notice that she had 15 days to remove her animals due to her having more than 5 and she had not done what the order stated. She allowed animal control to take 8 puppies and 2 dogs.
Officer responded to Gumlog Road in reference to a 911 hang up call. It was advised that a child was heard playing before the call disconnected. The child was paying with the phone and accidentally called 911.
May 28
Officer was dispatched to Emanuel Medical Center in reference to an irate 10-13 patient. Staff advised that the patient refused to move his clothes and put on a hospital gown. Medication was administered.
Officers responded to Sycamore Street in reference to a wallet that had been found in the roadway.
Emanuel County 911 dispatched officers to South Green Street in reference to a dispute involving two males after a juvenile female allegedly made an obscene gesture toward one of the individuals. C/p stated that he had just gotten off work and was traveling northbound when he observed a young female in her yard waving her arms and jumping up and down. He stated that she then made an obscene gesture towards him. He stated that he approached a woman believed to be her mother. The father then came outside and told c/p to leave the property. The incident was found to be a misunderstanding.
