On Tuesday, September 22, students at SMS attended BOUNCE training in Ms. Tracey Averett's 7th and 8th grade classes. The training was led by Tammy Allen, Family Connection Coordinator, as part of the Resilient Georgia Grant work to promote positive mental health and resiliency.

E-empower yourself
Students participated in activities that helped them identify life experiences that shape people and impact the way they deal with stress and challenges. The students made keychains as visual aids of the lesson and also played a friendly game of basketball to review what they learned.
