Officers with the Swainsboro Police Department (SPD) reported...

March 20

Officer was dispatched to EMC ER in reference to a sexually assaulted patient. Victim appeared visibly nervous and stated she was at the hospital due to suicidal thoughts that began after she was forced to have sex while at work and expressed that the incident made her feel disgusting.

Officer responded to N Anderson St. in reference to a stolen vehicle complaint. Complainant stated he and his wife picked up an individual walking then stopped by their home to grab some items and walked outside to find his vehicle gone. C/p stated he waited appx. 15 minutes to see if offender would return the vehicle but never did.

Officer responded to Kathleen Rd. in reference to a fire.

Officer was dispatched to Happiness Dr. in reference to a missing juvenile. While on scene, complainant received a video call from the juvenile and when officers attempted to speak with her, she disconnected the call. Officer made contact with the juvenile and transported her home.

March 21

Officer was dispatched to Arden Dr. in reference to a custody dispute.

Officer was patrolling the area of Jordan Estates when he observed two male subjects and could smell a very strong odor of marijuana. One individual was issued a citation for possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

Officer was dispatched to Lewis St. in reference to two 911 hang-up calls.

Officer was dispatched to Kite Rd. in reference to an elderly male sitting in the ditch across from STC. Officer made contact with the individual who stated he had been at the hospital and was walking home in Dellwood. Officer waited until someone picked him up.

Officer was dispatched to Tyson St. in reference to transporting offender to EmCo Jail for GSP.

March 22

Officer was dispatched to Washington St. in reference to a 911 hang-up call.

Officer was dispatched to CM City in reference to an alarm call.

Officers were dispatched to McLeod Bridge Rd. in reference to a call about subjects trying to fight. Complainant stated a male subject went there to fight her son and ran towards the woods and officers could hear branches snapping in the woods but could not locate him.

Officers responded to Advance St. in reference to caller stating her brother was threatening to kill her boyfriend. Upon arrival, offender had left the scene but called c/p several times and she was advised to answer. Officers listened on speakerphone as offender kept making threatening comments. C/p stated offender was driving drunk and contact was made with the vehicle. Officer observed the vehicle come to a sudden stop at the stop sign, then take a wide turn and run off the road, then fail to maintain its lane, at which time a traffic stop was made. Offender was asked to step out of the vehicle and was unsteady on his feet. Offender failed field sobriety tests and made terroristic threat statements towards law enforcement. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

Officers were dispatched to McLeod Bridge Rd. in reference to a two-month-old not breathing and EMS had been dispatched. The baby vomited and was alert and oriented, breathing and crying.

Officer was dispatched to N Main St. in reference to complainant stating she found a tracking device on a stroller she bought in FL and was receiving messages from someone. Complainant was worried because the individual now has the location of her residence.

March 23

Officer took a walk-in report where complainant wanted to report his vehicle stolen and was possibly in the Atlanta area. Vehicle was entered into GCIC as stolen.

Officer took a walk-in report where complainant stated she goes live on TikTok and makes money. C/p reported she is being threatened by an individual who sent her money to help pay her power bill. Based off what c/p could gather, offender is located in LA.

Officers responded to Oaklawn Dr. in reference to a trespassing complaint. Complainant advised two individuals were in a private pond without permission and requested they be removed. Officers made contact with the individuals and advised them of the situation, and they complied and exited the property.

Officer was dispatched to Electric Dr. in reference to a dispute. Complainant stated a male subject had net returned $100 to him for a deposit on some items. C/p stated he was to meet in Waynesboro to get the items and got tied up and could not get there at their designated time so he received a message from the seller that he would no longer hold the items and refuses to send his deposit back.

Officer was dispatched to Fairground Rd. in reference to complainant stating her boyfriend hit her multiple times in the face.

March 24

Officer observed a vehicle keep driving up and down E Pine St. and believed the driver to be a known individual criminally trespassed from a residence on N Andeson Dr. Officer got behind the vehicle and it eventually turned into the N Anderson Dr. residence parking lot and drove to the far north end. Officer observed a male quickly exit the vehicle and began walking quickly toward a side door. Officer exited his vehicle and called out to the individual by his last name and he did not stop. A female exited the vehicle and stated he was her family and walked inside. Officers made contact with individuals over the apartments who stated they wanted offender and his vehicle removed from the property. While officers were reviewing video footage, officer heard someone tell offender to come on out and officer observed him exit an apartment. Offender was placed under arrest and transported to EmCo Jail.

Officers were dispatched to S Main St. in reference to a male and female attempting to climb a fence at the business. Officers made contact with the individuals who stated they were trying to find an outlet to charge their phones. Officer asked the individuals for their personal information and the male subject provide false info twice then gave his info. Male offender had an active warrant out of Bulloch Co. and a hold was placed. Female offender had needles for injecting meth in her bag but stated she had not used in appx. three weeks, two small baggies and a cut straw. Both were transported to EmCo Jail.

Officer spoke with complainant who stated she had a tenant who was supposed to be at work and did not show up or call in and she wanted a welfare check done because it’s out of character for him. C/p advised victim has blood pressure issues and unlocked the door to his apartment after being called out with no answer. Once the door was opened, victim was found lying on his stomach between the bathroom and hallway. 911 was notified to dispatch EMS. Officer rolled victim over and he was unable to communicate. EMS arrived and took over.

Officer took a report where complainant stated family members have been using her identity to get cars, houses, etc. and taking money from her account by forging her name.

Officer responded to Industrial Way in reference to a dispute.

Officer responded to Gumlog Rd. in reference to complainant stating a female went through c/p’s ex-boyfriend’s phone and found a video of them and sent it to other people. C/p stated when she told offenders she was getting law enforcement involved, they deleted the videos. C/p stated she has been receiving harassing messages from offender.

Officers took a report where complainant stated her daughter is being bullied. C/p advised she made a report with the school resource officer.

March 25

Officer responded to Sunoco in reference to caller stating a store employee was refusing to pay him money he won on a lottery slot machine. Complainant stated he won $180 and the machine would not allow him to cash out. Store owner advised c/p to play the game one additional time and increase the bet to $5 to determine if the machine was malfunctioning and he would reimburse c/p the $5. After playing an additional time, the machine printed a cash-out ticket of $5 increments. Store owner advised he would need to continue cashing out in $5 increments until the full amount was dispensed and once the total amount was cashed out, he would be able to use it as a store credit or receive a gift card.

Officer responded to Pierce Ave. in reference to two entering-auto incidents. It was determined that both vehicles were left unlocked and a wallet with appx. $10 and purse with appx. $650 were taken.

Officers were aware of a probation warrant on offender who was observed in a vehicle. Offender was exiting the vehicle and officer told her she had a warrant for her arrest, and she was transported to EmCo Jail.

Officer responded to Lambs Bridge Rd. in reference to an alarm call.

Officer responded to Arden Dr. in reference to caller stating kids were on 4-wheelers popping wheelies.

Officer was dispatched to SHS in reference to an alarm on the baseball field.

Officer was dispatched to Turner Dr. in reference to complainant stating her ex-boyfriend, his mother and his sister has been stalking her.

Officer responded to Ware’s in reference to a burglary. Complainant stated an unknown person entered the building and took a boston butt off the grill.

Officers responded to Market St. in reference to two vehicle break-ins.

Officer responded to Huddle House in reference to a male subject who has been told several times not to return to the property.
