Complainant stated a TMobile associate changed information in his phone without his permission.
Officers responded to S. Main St. in reference to individuals attempting to run someone over with a vehicle.
Complainant stated offender has been going to his residence trying to fight him and he wanted to obtain a TPO.
Officer was dispatched to Abundance St. in reference to someone taking complainant’s phone because he thought she took a picture of his credit card.
Officer responded to D&I in reference to complainant stating she went to the store with a female and left her in the vehicle. C/p stated later that day, she noticed appx. $400 was missing from her purse.
Officer was dispatched to Harmon Park in reference to an alligator in the pond. Officers walked the perimeter and observed an otter, but no alligator.
February 28
Officers were dispatched to EMC in reference to someone placing roses and notes on vehicle door handles. Officer examined the evidence and determined that it appeared harmless and was possibly placed as an act of kindness. Officer also observed multiple vehicles in all parking lots with roses on them.
Officers were dispatched to Stevens Dr. in reference to offender causing a disturbance and using verbal profanities toward his mother and other family members. Offender’s mother stated he had left, and officers were unable to locate him. While leaving the area, officers observed offender walking back toward Stevens Dr. and followed him back to the residence to retrieve belongings.
Officer responded to N. Green St. in reference to a female who stated she was scared and wanted to jump into a pond but did not want to go to jail. She stated she had taken four different types of pills and wasn’t feeling well. Officer transported the female to EMC ER.
Officers were dispatched to Huddle House in reference to an unwanted person harassing employees.
Officer observed a vehicle on the side of the roadway that had been sitting there for almost two weeks. Vehicle was towed.
Officers responded to Abundance St. in reference to a male subject yelling and running outside without clothing. Complainant stated she and her husband went to check on their neighbor because they had not seen or heard from him and when they arrived, they found him inside without any clothing on and he got up, began yelling and screaming and ran outside. Offender was transported by EMS to EMC.
Officer responded to Jemison in reference to an alarm. Officer observed an open door and a tank of hydrogen peroxide spraying loads of hydrogen out of the bottom of the tank. An employee arrived and stated the tank was not supposed to be blowing that long because it was just a blow valve and is set to release once pressure reaches a certain point. He then called maintenance and advised officers the tank would be okay.
Officers were dispatched to EMC in reference to a male subject striking several patients and damaging hospital property. Offender was observed tearing a wooden cabinet apart and the TV had been thrown on the floor. Nursing staff advised offender got upset regarding his meal tray and they tried to resolve the issue by providing him an alternative meal and he continued to escalate verbally before becoming physically violent. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
March 1
Officer spoke with complainant who stated someone damaged her vehicle and poured sugar in her gas tank.
Officers were dispatched to Industrial Way in reference to a 911 hang-up call. A male and female were observed engaged in an argument and the situation was successfully mediated.
March 2
Officer was dispatched to Dollar Tree in reference to a male subject harassing citizens in the parking lot. Officers have had several prior interactions with offender regarding harassment. Complainant stated offender approached the storefront window and door and pulled down his pants. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer responded to Fortune Loop in reference to a female knocking aggressively on victim’s door. Officer took a walk-in report in reference to Eastwood Church of God sign being damaged, costing $1,100 to repair. A crash report was completed the night of the crash where the driver fled on foot before officers arrived on scene.
Officer was dispatched to Soloman St. in reference to a welfare check. Caller advised he had not had any contact with the resident throughout the day, and she was not answering her phone or responding to knocks at the door. Caller advised he last spoke with victim the previous day and she had been experiencing complications with her blood pressure. Officer attempted to make contact with victim with no response. C/p used a screwdriver to open the door, and contact was made with victim lying in the bed and appeared extremely week and was only able to speak in a very soft tone. Officer contacted 911 and requested EMS. Victim was evaluated and refused transport to EMC.
Complainant advised he hit a pothole on Mable Ave., causing damage to his tire and rim totaling appx. $2,500.
Officer observed offender known to have an active arrest warrant walking and made contact with him. Offender had appx. 0.6 grams of meth on his person. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
March 3
Officer took a walk-in report regarding property damage. Complainant stated he allowed offender to borrow his trailer and when he returned it, he observed damage. C/p stated offender initially agreed to take care of the damages but is now refusing to do so.
Officer was notified about offender having an active probation warrant through Stillmore PD and they wanted a hold placed. After offender was dismissed from court, he was placed under arrest and transported to EmCo Jail.
Offender was sentenced to five days in jail during a probation revocation hearing and was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer was dispatched to Oak St. in reference to a caller stating she was having issues with a neighbor.
Offender was placed under arrest for probation revocation and to serve 30 days in jail. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer was dispatched to EMC in reference to a male caller stating he was experiencing suicidal thoughts and was standing outside the ER but was scared to go in. Upon arrival, victim was at registration being checked in and spoke with officer when he finished registering. Victim stated he has been dealing with depression and relationship issues negatively impacted his mental health.
March 4
Officer was alerted via tag reader of suspended registration and learned the vehicle did not have valid insurance, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Upon running driver’s info, it was determined that he had suspended license. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officers were dispatched to Deluxe Inn in reference to caller stating her niece was in need of emergency medical services. Complainant stated offender had been irate and causing a disturbance and officer observed him displaying erratic behavior and failing to comply with lawful verbal commands given by ECSO. Officer approached offender and he continued yelling and did not respond positively and remained visibly agitated and uncooperative. Offender was placed under arrest and transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer was dispatched to West St. in reference to caller stating her brother was attempting to leave the residence and had multiple medical health issues. Victim has been diagnosed with bipolar, and schizophrenia and family members were attempting to talk to him about his drinking habits and has frequent outbursts of aggression. Victim appeared coherent and family was advised that officers could not prevent him from leaving.
March 5
Officer observed two AC units at the old school building on Jefferson St. had been ripped open and the copper piping had been removed.
Officers performed routine business and security checks throughout the city.
Officer observed a driver without a seatbelt, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. It was determined that the driver had an active warrant out of Richmond Co. A hit was placed and they wanted a hold placed. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officers were dispatched to Swainsboro Apartments in reference to a dispute.
Officer was dispatched to S. Racetrack St. in reference to vehicle damage from a pothole.
Officer received a call in reference to a vehicle doing burnouts and driving at a high rate of speed in WalMart parking lot. Driver was placed under arrest and transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer observed a vehicle parked at the Vann Community Center after dark and pulled in to investigate. Officer approached the vehicle and observed a light inside as he made contact with the driver. Officer could smell a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Officer advised the driver that the park was closed after dark and that possession of marijuana is illegal and prohibited on park property. Driver stated he understood and was instructed to discard the blunt on the ground and stomp it in the mud, which he did. Driver was advised he had to leave the park.
