Officers with the Swainsboro Police Department (SPD) reported…

October 3

Officer was dispatched to Budget Inn in reference to a female repeatedly knocking on complainant’s door.

Officer observed a driver holding a cell phone, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Driver provided a passport and advised he did not have a license. Offender’s license is suspended.

Officer was dispatched to Stevens Dr. in reference to a noise complaint.

Officer was dispatched to S. Main St. in reference to a stolen cell phone.

Officer was dispatched to Washington St. in reference to an individual knocking on complainant’s door.

October 4

Officer was dispatched to W. Main St. in reference to a complaint of a resident being unruly.

Officer was dispatched to N. Green St. in reference to victim advising offender beat her all over the house and pushed her down. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

Officer observed offender known to have a probation warrant, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Offender did not have a valid driver license, and the vehicle had no valid insurance. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

Officer was dispatched to Lucky St. in reference to a dispute. Complainants advised their juvenile daughter ran off without permission and an argument occurred.

Officer responded to E. Moring St. in reference to a private property vehicle accident. One involved driver had an active warrant through Bay County in FL who wanted a hold placed. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

Officer was dispatched to McMillan Dr. in reference to a shot fired.

October 5

Officer was dispatched to Lewis St. in reference to loud music.

Officer was dispatched to Enmarket in reference to complainant stating he had a minibike in the trunk of his vehicle and left the vehicle unattended to go inside to pay and upon returning, the bike had been stolen.

Officer was dispatched to McMillan Dr. in reference to two dogs running at large. Complainant stated the dogs ran at her and growled at her. AC 1 was contact3ed.

Officer observed a vehicle with illegal tint, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Driver did not have a license and was found to be wanted by Toombs County who wanted a hold placed. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

Officers were dispatched to S. Green ST. in reference to a female blowing a whistle screaming for help. Deputy made entry into the woods about 60 to 70 yards where a camp setup with two tents were.

Officers ran a tag to find the vehicle had suspended registration, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Officer could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Marijuana and a stolen firearm were found inside the vehicle.

October 6

Officer responded to Red’s in reference to property damage. Complainant stated a customer damaged a red iron bench located on the property valued at appx. $1,000. Driver advised he did not see the bench while attempting to exit the parking lot.

Officer responded to E. Pint St. in reference to an irate female. Officer could hear a female yelling and cursing from inside the apartment and knocked on the door and a female opened it. Officer observed two small children sitting on the couch and a male subject standing in the kitchen. Officer heard a female yelling and using profanity and complainant stated she was in the bathroom. Officer gave verbal commands for offender to exit the bathroom and as she walked out, she continued to use a loud voice and use profanity towards officer, the male subject and offender’s mother. Officer told offender that the profanity needed to stop due to the children being present and she walked to the couch in an aggressive manner slinging her arms and stomping and continued yelling and using profanity. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

Officers responded to Oaklawn Dr. in reference to a female experiencing suicidal thoughts. Complainant stated she went to check on her cousin and observed what appeared to be a handgun between the cushions. C/p stated she asked victim if she planned to harm herself and she stated she had a plan and possessed two firearms. Victim was turned over to EMS and transported to EMC ER for evaluation.

Officers were dispatched to S. Racetrack St. in reference to a window being busted out. Complainant stated his son’s girlfriend busted the window. C/p advised his son and sons’ girlfriend got into an argument and that his son is on drugs.

Officer received a complainant regarding a suspicious vehicle speeding in a residential area on Sunshine St. and caller was concerned about the safety of pedestrians commonly walking in the area.

October 7

Officer took a report where complainant stated someone backed into her vehicle while at T-Mobile.

Officer took a report where complainant stated he was scammed. C/p stated he was looking at a house on Price St. that was listed on Facebook and sent offenders $650 for rent and application fees via Cashapp, then rod by the house and saw a realtor sign and called to be told it was for sale and not for rent.

Officer placed offender under arrest for an active warrant from State Probation. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

Officer was informed offender’s probation had been revoked and placed offender under arrest and transported him to EmCo Jail.

Officers were dispatched to Rentz St. in reference to juveniles shooting BB guns and pellet rifles. Complainant expressed concerns about possible property damage happening.

October 8

Officers were dispatched to Arden Dr. in reference to someone knocking on the side of complainant’s home. C/p stated that on two different occasions, an unknown individual knocked on the side of her house.

Officers were dispatched to Emanuel Peanut and Grain in reference to a vehicle fire. Officers observed the vehicle fully engulfed in flames and the owner informed them that he recently replaced the battery and alternator but had no idea what may have initiated the fire.

Officer was dispatched to S. Racetrack ST. in reference to a male subject being irate. Offender was transported to EMC ER for evaluation.

October 9

Officers were dispatched to Gumlog Rd. in reference to a call about a missing female not at her residence after posting a concerning post on FB. Complainant stated she and her daughter had an argument and she left the house and received calls about the post. Victim was found unconscious in a wooded area beside Gumlog Park. Victim was transported to EMC ER.

Officer was dispatched to King Circle Dr. in reference to complainants stating they gave offender $5,000 for the purchase of a house and the seller backed out and refused to return the money. Officer attempted to make contact with offender, but she would not answer the door.

Officer was dispatched to S. Green St. in reference to a complaint by the landlord. C/p stated offender was evicted two weeks prior and made threats to burn down the residence. C/p also advised offender left several belongings inside the home including a cat and a dog, and requested offender be trespassed from the property. AC1 was contacted and retrieved the animals.

Officers were dispatched to S. Racetrack St. in reference to offender climbing through a window to enter the residence and smoking illegal substances. Complainant advised both offenders were behind the house smoking and as officers approached, the female attempted to leave but was called back for questioning. Officer walked around the house and observed the male as he fled after being instructed to stop. Officers eventually persuaded him to return and was arrested and transported to EmCo Jail.
