July 27

Deputies were dispatched to Old Garfield Rd. in reference to complainant stating offender was arguing with his mother. C/p saw offender kick his mother’s car and told her, so offender punched him in the nose and a struggle happened and offender left the scene.

Deputies were dispatched to Herrington St. in reference to a female being threatened by her brother-in-law. C/p stated she took something to her brother at offender’s house and parked at the end of the driveway and offender came out cussing at her and told her to stay off his property. C/p stated offender was running towards her calling her names with a firearm on his side. C/p also stated that if offender went to her house and forced his way in, she would shoot him.

July 28

Deputies responded to Lake Luck Dr. in reference to a domestic disturbance call. Victim was on the front lawn with a large knot on her forehead and stated her boyfriend hit her during an argument. Deputies made contact with offender at which time he stated to go ahead and take him in. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

July 30

Deputy was dispatched to Stevens Cemetery Rd. in reference to an unresponsive male. Investigator arrived on scene and processed the scene.

July 31

Deputy took a report involving ongoing protective orders against offenders. C/p stated someone sent her a Facebook post made by offender where they shared a post discussing allegedly frivolous TPOs and commented, and c/p believes the post referenced her. C/p stated the post may not constitute a violation of the TPO, but she wanted it documented.

Victim stated her ex-husband/offender keeps harassing her and threatens to take their child away from her. Victim stated it is so bad to the point that she has considered suicide. Deputy advised victim that if she was thinking about suicide that he needed to take her to the ER and she agreed, so she was transported to EMC ER for evaluation.

Complainant stated she was given a bail bondsman’s number, and he bonded her out of jail. She stated offender owed her $20 so she told him to take her by the Sheriff’s Officer so she could get her phone and pay him off her phone. C/p stated that while they were enroute, offender started asking her questions and making statements that made her feel uncomfortable. C/p stated offender dropped her off at ECSO and she disclosed to a deputy that she was afraid of offender. When offender returned to pick c/p up, he was given the $20 and told him c/p didn’t need a ride, and he was persistent that he take her home. Deputy told c/p to go with him and offender stated he would be back with paperwork and left.

Deputies were dispatched to E Meadowlake Pkwy in referenced to a suicide attempt. Deputies observed victim walk back towards the house from the woods and was noticeably weak and looked dehydrated and under the influence. Victim stated she took 36 Trazadone pills and was transported to EMC ER by EMS.

Deputies were sent a video of what seemed to be someone trying to enter a vehicle. It shows a female walking toward a vehicle door until she noticed a camera facing her, at which time she turned and walked away. Deputies noticed it was a familiar juvenile who lives near the location and has been charged with entering auto.

August 1

Deputy was dispatched to McKenzie Dr. in reference to an animal complaint. Complainant stated he observed four dogs attacking his cat and attempted to run them off and they became aggressive towards him, biting at him.

Deputies were dispatched to Hook’s Store in reference to a domestic. Complainant stated her friend/offender stole her car and her cellphone, leaving her stranded at the store. She advised offender was drunk and has no license. C/p stated her daughter was tracking her phone and stated offender was driving on I16 towards Macon at rates of 100+ MPH. Deputies entered the vehicle in GCIC as stolen and had SPD enter it in the Flock system.

Deputy was dispatched to Rudy Scarboro Rd. in reference to stolen property.

August 2

Deputy spoke with complainant who reported harassment from her ex-boyfriend. C/p stated offender has been contacting her stepdaughter and telling her things that are not true and has been contacting c/p’s boyfriend and his family telling them that she is still texting him saying how much she loves him. C/p advised that she has blocked offender on all social media platforms and phones.

Deputy was dispatched to Griffin Ferry Rd. in reference to offender threatening caller with a gun. Complainants stated their neighbors went to their residence and brandished a gun and told them he would “pop” them and held the gun at his hip and pointed the barrel in c/p’s direction. C/p’s stated offender returned to their residence and deputy made contact with him where he was placed under arrest for an outstanding warrant through Laurens Co. Offender stated c/p began making threats about being in a gang and things he could do to offender. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
