June 28
Deputy was dispatched to Plumtree Ln. in reference to a suspicious person on the property. Complainant stated an unknown male approached her and began demanding to know who owned the bulldozer parked near the wood line and c/p stated that she did not know and the subject began pointing his finger and demanding to know if her parents were home. C/p stated she advised the male subject that she was calling the police and he told her it unnecessary and he would call later and left. Appx. 45 mins. later, deputy was dispatched to another Plumtree Ln. residence in reference to people trespassing on the property. C/p stated his neighbors at the previous residence have continuously encroached on his property and advised there is a bulldozer on his property line. C/p showed deputy pictures of the dozer parked halfway over the marked property line prior to deputy’s arrival.
June 29
Deputy responded to Red Roof Truck Stop in reference to an altercation. Complainant stated that while at the gas pumps, she was approached by a female/offender and a heated argument ensued over a previous incident, and it turned physical. Offender was located on Long Bay Dr. and transported to EmCo Jail.
Investigators observed a vehicle on Hwy 80 E traveling 75 MPH in a 35 MPH zone and attempted to catch up with the vehicle when they observed a TCPD officer attempting to stop the vehicle. Once the vehicle was stopped, a probable cause search was performed to find marijuana.
June 30
Deputy was dispatched to Durden Rd. in reference to a domestic. Complainant stated she had been trying to leave with her two children but was waiting for her family to get there from Grovetown. C/p her boyfriend;/offender had been arguing with her since the night prior and was putting her things on the porch.
Deputy took a missing person report from Old Swainsboro Rd. in Twin City. Complainant stated she has not seen or heard from her brother since Saturday and it is not like him because he was supposed to be at work Monday morning but didn’t show up. C/p advised who her brother left with and deputy made contact with him to be told that he dropped victim off at Best Western in Swainsboro. Deputy made contact with victim who stated he was perfectly fine and that his sister suffers from MH issues.
July 1
Complainant stated offender slapped him in the face and pulled a gun on him because him and offender’s daughter had an argument and he pushed her down.
Victim stated he was renting a place on Mt. Shady Church Rd. to offender and when offender moved out, c/p found damages and missing property.
Complainant reported his handgun missing.
Victim stated offender/sister-in-law, picked him up so he could spend time with his nephews and offender started drinking so he confronted her about it and she got mad and started yelling at him and went at him, so he pushed her away. Victim stated offender was intoxicated and very belligerent.
July 2
Victim stated her family put a missing report out on her and she wanted to report to them that she is alright. Victim stated she left without telling anyone because her family was being abusive to her and did not want any contact with family members right now.
Victim stated offender/stepdaughter’s boyfriend has been harassing him and his wife. Victim has a TPO on his stepdaughter and is in the processing of evicting her so offender sent threatening messages and has been posting nasty things on Facebook about victims.
Victim stated someone went to her front door, beat on it and ran away. Victim stated she has it on video and the person was laughing as they left.
Deputy observed a truck and a SUV appear to be racing on Hwy 1 S, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. The driver was covered in blood and stated he dropped someone off at the ER with a gunshot that happened somewhere on Hwy 297. Deputy advised the driver to get in and take him to the location. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with a female. While deputies were waiting on the Investigator, a vehicle pulled up with the gun that was used in the shooting. Scene was turned over to Investigator.
July 4
Deputies were dispatched to Maple St. in reference to a domestic dispute and threats. Complainant stated his brother/offender had left. C/p stated offender was extremely intoxicated and when his mother asked him to leave, he became irate and got in his mother’s face and began making threats towards her. C/p stated this is an ongoing issue with his brother and he has a drinking problem and becomes violent and aggressive, as well as steals things from the house. C/p stated he and his mother feared for their safety and have told offender not to return several times.
Deputies were dispatched to Durden Rd. in reference to a domestic dispute with threats. Complainant stated she packed her and her children’s belongings and was leaving and offender was upset and made threats.
July 5
Deputy was dispatched to Springtime St. in reference to a burglary. Victim stated he and his girlfriend invited a few folks over for a pool party and he put his wallet in his safe with $2,800 in it, as well as another $3,000 being in the safe. Victim went inside later to find his wallet on the floor empty, as well as his safe.
Deputies were dispatched to Griffin Ferry Rd. in reference to an altercation. Offender ran as Investigator arrived on scene and was given verbal commands to stop and was transported to EmCo Jail.
Deputies responded to Halls Bridge Rd. in reference to vehicles blocking the roadway. Some were moved and one was towed due to being unoccupied and impeding traffic flow.
