May 18
Deputy was dispatched to St. Galilee Rd. in reference to a mental health subject leaving home walking toward Hwy 56 N. Deputy met with complainant stated the resident/patient she cares for left the house walking due to her stating she did not want to live there anymore. Deputy transported patient to EMC to be3 evaluated.
Complainant stated he gave offender some chickens and she agreed to pay for them but now she won’t pay him his money.
Deputies were dispatched to Canady Rd. in reference to an elderly female with Alzheimer’s who left the residence in a vehicle. Complainant/ victims daughter stated she took what she thought was the only key to victim’s vehicle and hit it. C/p stated victim had been wanting to go home and had been packing clothes and taking them to the car and was upset because c/p would not take her home. C/p advised the home victim was referring to was on Page Garrett Rd. where she grew up. C/p stated she was inside and victim was outside and after a period of time, victim’s husband went to check on her and found that she left in the vehicle. C/p stated she must have found a spare key somewhere in the residence and provided locations victim may have gone to. Deputies then began looking for her. C/p contacted deputy and advised him that victim returned to the residence, and everything was ok.
Deputies were dispatched to Dunford Sconyers Rd. in reference to a male subject having amental health episode possibly due to drug use. Deputies located offender walking in the roadway and appeared to be under the influence having visual, auditory and physical hallucinations. Offender stated he had not used any drugs and had only gotten sick while at work. Deputies found offender to have an outstanding probation warrant and transported him to EmCo Jail.
Deputy took a report where complainant stated her husband/offender changed the locks on the house and had her locked out.
Deputy took a report about fraudulent activity. Victim stated she submitted a loan application online and was contacted by someone claiming to be a loan officer and advised her that she had been approved for a loan and he needed further information. Victim stated she provided her banking information and was notified by the bank a few days later that her account was overdrawn by almost $2,500. Vitim stated she went to the bank and was provided with copies of checks that had been electronically deposited into her account totaling $3,996.27 and offender used her name to endorse them. After the funds were taken from her account, it left her $2,492.40 overdrawn.
Deputy was dispatched to EMC in reference to an animal bite. Victim stated a stray cat showed up at her house and attacked her cat and when she went to get it off her cat, it attacked her. Victim had injuries to her leg, arm and several claw marks on her hand.
May 19
Deputy took a walk-in report in reference to damage to a vehicle.
May 20
Caller stated bit coin mine was making excessive noise with not decibel reading.
Deputy was dispatched to Leman Rd. in reference to complainant stating several dogs killed several of his chickens and turkeys. C/p stated the dogs belong to a residence on Rosie Powell Rd. and it has been a reoccurring problem for a while.
May 21
Deputy was dispatched to Old Wadley Rd. in reference to someone hitting complainant’s mailbox.
May 22
Deputy and investigator executed a warrant at EMC due to multiple arrest warrants. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
May 23
Deputies were dispatched o Kathleen Rd. in reference to a dispute. Complainant stated offender was making verbal threats and she is not supposed to be on the property because she was evicted 30 days ago but has been illegally staying in a shed on the property. Offender was located at Harmon Park and criminally trespassed her from the property.
Investigator received a call from complainant in reference to offender receiving money for furniture and it never being received. Offender was arrested for theft/deception.
May 25
Deputies responded to Hwy 192 S in reference to a male subject jumping out of a vehicle. Offender was found to be under the influence of alcohol and hit thee ditch after failing to maintain his lane. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Investigator was contacted by complainant who advised offender is a con and was taking money from people and not delivering the furniture as promised.
Victim stated her soon-to-be ex-husband broke into her home by gaining entry through a window and victim found offender hiding under her bed. Victim stated offender just got out of jail in White Co. on bond and that a bond condition was that he not to be on victim’s property.
