According to the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office…
March 3
Deputy observed two individuals at the dump site on Fairground Rd. sifting through the dumpsters. Both doors were open and an open-air sniff was performed, showing a positive alert of narcotics on the passenger side of the vehicle. Deputy asked both individuals if there as anything in the vehicle that shouldn’t be and they both replied no. A search was conducted where a plastic container was located in the center console with a bag containing meth inside, a glass pipe and a small bag of marijuana. In the rear of the vehicle, a large clear bag with several smoking devices and a container containing more marijuana and a small container with more meth was found. Female subject stated everything belonged to her and wasn’t going to let the male subject take the charges. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Complainant stated she did a $450 job for offender on Ed Youmans Rd., and he will not pay her and she can’t make contact with him by phone.
March 4
Deputy was dispatched to Kersey Rd. in reference to complainant stating she filed her taxes and found where someone has been using her daughter’s SS# and personal info to file taxes. C/p stated she called the IRS and was told that someone in another state used her daughter’s info to file taxes in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Deputy took a call in reference to complainant stating she received a photo on her personal phone advising she had received a citation in Fulton Co. demanding she pay the fine or appear in court. When the citation was entered into the Fulton Co. website, it advised the citation does not exist. Contact was attempted with Fulton Co. with not contact and c/p was advised the citation was believed to be fraud and not to pay it.
Deputy took a report where complainant stated she has a TPO on offender who is constantly speaking with her lawyer to make contact with her via 3rd party.
Complainant advised of a downed Jefferson EMC power pole on Pinetucky Rd.
March 5
Deputies were dispatched to Fanning Cir. in reference to complainant stating a vehicle was not at his residence the previous night when he went to sleep and woke up to find it backed up next to his residence. Upon running the tag, the registered owner was found to have multiple outstanding warrants. Vehicle was removed by a towing service.
Deputies received a call in reference to someone shooting at complainant’s house. C/p advised offender went to her house highly intoxicated and after she and her husband asked him to leave, he tried to cause a scene and kicked over a cooler then slapped her in the face. C/p stated offender walked across the road and began throwing rocks and beer cans at their vehicles, then heard a shot and went inside to call 911. Contact was made with offender at a house across the road and placed offender under arrest and transported him to EmCo Jail.
March 7
Victim stated someone tore about 75 feet of his fence down on Buck Corbin Rd. Victim’s neighbor had video footage of a UTV traveling by his house, then coming back by 12 minutes later and tire tracks were observed on the edge of the road.
Deputies were dispatched to Old Dellwood Rd. in reference to a vehicle crash and the vehicle was trying to leave the scene. Fire Rescue arrived and reported to 911 that the driver of the wrecked vehicle fled on foot. Offender was located and transported to EmCo Jail.
Deputies responded to Paradise Hills Dr. in reference to a fight. One male subject had a large contusion above his left eye, and his face was covered in what appeared to be dry blood. He stated they were having a birthday celebration and his brother-in-law started running his mouth to victim’s sister and they started fighting. Deputy tried speaking with offender who was very uncooperative and stated he tripped and fell.
March 8
Deputy was dispatched to Lambs Bridge Rd. in reference to a vehicle hitting a mailbox. Driver stated a dog ran out in front of her and she swerved and hit the mailbox.
