February 10

Deputy met with victim on Thomas Rd. in reference to a stolen firearm.

GSP contacted deputy in reference to a traffic stop he made with offender having an unknown amount of marijuana on him and the vehicle looked to have hidden items inside of it. Deputy arrived and searched the vehicle to find several hand pressed pills inside a cigarette pack. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

Deputy responded to Mt. Olivet Church Road to assist the fire department with a call in reference to a vehicle structure fire. C/p stated that she was raking leaves and burning them when the fire got out of control. She stated that the fire burned down her carport, car, lawn mower, and her grandchildren’s toys.

February 11

Deputy received a call from an off-duty deputy about a vehicle parked in a gated driveway with a partially nude female standing beside it with a liquor bottle. Deputy noticed the vehicle trying to leave and initiated a traffic stop. The male driver was very nervous and when asked what they were doing, they stated “nothing” and denied anything illegal was in the vehicle. A search was conducted and a glass pipe was located under the driver seat and a clear plastic bag with a crystal-like substance was found in the driver side door. Both offenders were arrested and transported to EmCo Jail.

February 12

Complainant stated that she was making a delivery for FedEx when she hit a low-hanging tree limb in someone’s yard. Damage could be seen on the top of the vehicle along with the windshield, hood, fender, and passenger mirror.

February 13

Deputy took a walk-in report where complainant stated her neighbor/offender keeps going on her property after being asked several times to stay off and has cut a trail and put up deer cameras on their property.

February 14

Deputy responded to Ogburn Dr. and made contact with offender who had a warrant from NC. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

Deputy responded to Payton Rd. in reference to a trespasser. Complainant stated an unknown female went on her porch and opened the door. C/p stated her mother-in-law was laying in the front room with her child and when offender saw them, she closed the door and walked off.

Deputy met with victims on Mt. Oliff Church Rd. in reference to six campers being broken into and some having items missing.

February 15

Deputy was dispatched to Quick Rd. in reference to a child complaint. Upon further investigation, it seemed the allegations were false statements.

Deputy was dispatched to King Circle Dr. in reference to a domestic dispute that occurred.
