February 2

Complainant stated her vehicle was towed and sat there for about a year and when she went to get it, her tag was missing.

Complainant stated her brother/offender used his identity in November and got two citations. C/p advised this is not the first time this has happened and offender is wanted out of multiple jurisdictions.

Complainant stated there were four fraudulent charges on her account totaling $249.70.

February 3

Complainant stated offender sent her a message and he violated his TPO.

February 4

Deputy meet with complainant in reference to c/p’s dog being poisoned and was found in distress and had to be taken to the vet.

Deputies were dispatched to Scarboro Church Rd. in reference to caller stating her daughter was making threats of harming c/p. C/p advised deputy of c/p having mental health issues and not being able to get her to the doctor.

Deputies responded to Scarboro Church Rd. in reference to complainant stating her daughter hit her. C/p was highly intoxicated and was placed under arrest. While enroute to EmCo Jail, offender got very irate and started banging her head on the glass and yelling and cursing the whole way there and defecated on herself while bragging about it.

Deputy was dispatched to S. Bell St. in reference to complainant hitting a deer.

Investigators were contacted by Queensborough Bank regarding a fraudulent and forged check. Complainant advised they were notified by RFCU that a check was cashed at their location and was later determined to be forged and were advised that the account holder had been reported missing by law enforcement since Helene.

February 5

Deputy was dispatched to Nora Blvd. in reference to victim stating he allowed offender to stay at his residence, and he took $500 out of c/p’s wallet.

Complainant stated her neighbor’s dog attacked her dogs and offender has been asked to keep his dogs under control.

Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 1 N in reference to copper theft.

Complainant stated his wallet went missing and was found but $180 and a gold chain were missing. C/p had a video of offender finding the wallet.

February 6

Complainant stated her tag was lost.

Victim stated he went to check on a meter on Old Wadley Rd. that belongs to the city and the lock had been taken off. Victim stated offender confronted him about what he was doing and offender snatched the lock away from him and got hostile toward him. Offender stated he was told by the city hall that the meter didn’t belong to the city and was paying his water bill to a named female. This was due to a misunderstanding about who owned the meter.

Deputies were dispatched to Drew Bennet Rd. in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Offender was found inside the vehicle and was known to be under investigation for a burglary committed in Stillmore. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

February 7

Complainant got a call from his tenants’ stating offender was causing problems on the property. Deputies responded to Hwy 80 E land made contact with offender at a camper who was drinking. Offender does not live on the property and c/p wanted him off the property and did not want him back on it. Offender agreed to leave but said he didn’t have a way to get to town, so he was given a courtesy ride by deputy and dropped off at the Time Saver on N. Main St. and told him not to go back to the property. Deputy was later advised by c/p that offender was back on the property. When deputy arrived, offender was back at the camper with two friends and asked him why he was back and he said to get his boots. Deputy advised him if her returned, he would be charged with criminal trespass.

Complainant stated offender’s dogs went on his property and killed his cat and this is not the first animal offender’s dog has killed.

Deputy received a call from 911 in reference to a child in the middle of the road on Hwy 56 N. Upon arrival, deputy met with the caller who had the child inside her vehicle. The child as wearing a diaper and shirt, and the grandmother arrived shortly before deputy and was trying to take it, but c/p was advised to hold onto the child until deputy arrived. Deputy spoke with the grandmother who has been keeping the child since the father abandoned his children and left them with her.

February 8

Deputy observed a vehicle traveling 101 MPH in in 70 MPH, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Driver presented a TN license, and it was determined that he had an active arrest warrant through SC. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

Complainant stated an unknown vehicle left the roadway and drove through his wooden fence damaging about 12 feet of fence.

February 9

Deputy requested another officer to assist with an individual on a bicycle at KFC. Upon arrival, officer observed officer and a male subject wrestling and going to the ground. Male subject was resisting arrest, so officer pulled his taser and stunned offender through is hoodie with no effect. Officer then raised offender’s jacket and stunned him with direct skin contact, at which time offender complied. Upon a search of offender’s person, a blunt pouch and straw were located. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
