December 29

Deputies were dispatched to Scarboro Church Rd. in reference to possible threats. 911 advised complainant stated her daughter was threatening her with a knife. Upon arrival, complainant did not say a word, she just pointed to a room in the back of the house. Deputy proceeded to the room and knocked on the door where she was sitting on her bed and informed her of why he was there. Suspect was surprised and stated she believes her mom is suffering from early onset of dementia and the only knife she has was on her alter, which deputy saw and observed multiple items that would concur with her story about the alter. While deputy was speaking with the daughter, c/p went into her bedroom and called 911 and told them she was scared and feared for her life and did not want the deputy to leave her daughter there. Deputy was speaking with c/p who suffers from several health problems and cannot care for herself, which is why her daughter is staying with her. C/p finally exited the bathroom and stated her daughter could stay. The daughter was informed of the process of getting her mother evaluated.

Deputy responded to Bonsue Dr. in reference to a female being hit in the head. Complainant stated her daughter’s boyfriend hit her in the head with a closed fist then ran down the road. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

December 30

Deputy met with complainant who stated he received documents in the mail stating he owed money from a credit card, but he doesn’t have a credit card. C/p also advised he received a letter stating his wages were going to be garnished due to the credit card.

Victim stated he received a phone call from a restricted number claiming to be from the Sheriff’s office and that he had a warrant for his arrest for missing Federal Court. Victim was advised he needed to pay money to have it cleared up, or he was going to be locked up. Victim sent $11,000 before the caller was satisfied and was told the warrant was cleared. Victim stated the caller spoke as law enforcement and had radio talk going on in the background. He later realized he had been scammed.

Deputy was dispatched to S. Railroad Ave. in reference to complainant hitting a deer.

Deputy took a report where complainant her boyfriend puts his hands on her and this wasn’t the first time it had happened.

Complainant reported victim missing. K9 and drones were deployed but were unsuccessful with picking up victim’s scent or tracking him.

Complainant was contacted at his residence by the manager of Coleman’s Lake Campground regarding an incident between two campground patrons. While inside c/p’s camper, his door was abruptly opened by offender who entered c/p’s camper without permission. Offender was directed to leave but refused at which time c/p encroached and guided her toward the exit until he was forced to back out. Despite c/p’s repeated requests for offender to leave, she continued to utter statements. C/p closed the door and locked it and resumed his conversation with the campground manager. He then heard someone attempting to open his door again and offender began banging on the door. C/p instructed her to return to her camped and told her he would speak with her later, but she did not respond and continued to bang on the door. C/p opened the door again and directed her to leave and warned her that if she didn’t, she would be placed under arrest. Offender ignored the warning and continued her behavior. After her continued refusal, offender was arrested and transported to EmCo Jail.

January 1, 2026

Deputies were dispatched to Oak Grove Church Rd. in reference to a domestic. Complainant stated victim and another tenant had gotten into an altercation. While speaking with the victim, she was talking about people that were not present and did not live at the residence as if they were there and appeared to be seeing people. Deputy asked if she had any mental health diagnosis’ and it was confirmed that she did. Deputy transported her to EMC ER. As deputy was transporting her, she was talking to herself and kept saying something about he and him the whole time.

January 4

Deputies were dispatched to Mixon Rd. in reference to an intoxicated male trying to jump on his teenage son. Upon arrival, offender was on his knees by his truck with belongings all over the ground. He was given verbal commands and placed under arrest for disorderly conduct. Complainant stated he drinks but hasn’t acted like this lately. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

Deputies received a call of an unwanted spouse on Lynn St. Offender stated he and his wife are going through a divorce and she has taken $19,000 from him and he wanted to talk to her about it and she wouldn’t respond to any of his calls, so he went over there. Witness and victim are afraid of offender and do not want him on their property. Offender was issued a verbal trespass warning and advised not to return.

Deputies were dispatched to Glennwood Rd. in reference to an irate male with possible altered mental status. Offender appeared upset and was hollering in the yard. Complainant stated offender recently had a stroke and could not speak and was advised to just have gotten out of the hospital. It was advised that offender keeps questionable company, some of which are believed to use drugs, and c/p believed offender may have been under the influence of drugs due to him having never acted this way before. C/p is over offender’s money and takes care of him. C/p stated offender went to the residence demanding money from her and offender believes c/p is stealing money from him. EMS was requested to evaluate offender but due to his combativeness, they were unable to transport him. Deputies transported offender to EMC ER, then transported to his residence on Lewis St.

Deputies were dispatched to Leopard Dr. in reference to property damage. Complainant stated she and offender recently divorced, and he had until the day prior to get his belongings that he wanted from c/p’s residence. Offender wanted a pool table but was told he could not have it due to it being given to c/p by family. C/p stated offender gathered other belongings from the building the table was in, and she later found where offender ripped the felt off the slate top and broke appx. 20 pool sticks. It also appeared as though offender had thrown hand chalk in the floor.

Deputies were dispatched to Red Roof Gas Station in reference to windows being busted on a vehicle. Complainant stated when he went to pick up his friend to take him to work, offender was upset and busted his driver side window and windshield. Deputies made contact with offender who stated he did not bust the windows. Deputies then spoke with witnesses who stated offender did in fact bust the windows. Offender was arrested and transported to EmCo Jail.
