January 6
Victim stated that the offender came to her house during the night and took her phone and keys to her car without her permission.
C/p stated that the tag for his vehicle was supposed to be mailed to him, but he has not received it.
Deputy responded to Old Wadley Rd. in reference to a dispute. Complainant stated an unknown male subject showed up at his residence.
January 7
C/p stated that on December 28, her daughter was at her father’s house when she was asked by offender if they could touch her inappropriately.
Deputy was dispatched to Green Spence Road in reference to squatters trying to move onto property. C/p stated that he is currently in the process of selling his property and that no one is supposed to be there. Suspect stated that he paid someone for rent on the property and provided evidence.
Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 1 S in reference to a burglary. Complainant stated he was awakened by the sound of the back door opening and he got up and heard the door shut. C/p stated he then heard a vehicle leaving but did not see it. C/p also stated that he has been seeing white and red lights next to his residence which get close and then move away. A family member on scene advised the lights were from a pivot in the field next to the residence. It appeared as though c/p was hallucinating due to drug use or mental health issues and declined EMS transport.
Deputy received a call about a potential burglary on Payton Rd. Deputy responded and made contact with complainant and witness who stated three males forced their way into their home and took a Glock and the incident was on their home security camera. Witness stated he knew the subjects and took deputy to their residence but had negative contact. Deputies went to another location and made contact with offender’s mother and informed her what her son was involved in. She called her son and told him to get home immediately, and he arrived about 10 minutes later with the other offenders. Deputy advised them of what they were told happened and there was evidence and they wanted the Glock back. They advised the Glock was not with them, so deputy followed them to another residence and took possession of the gun. Witness stated he allowed offenders to enter his residence to look for a stolen AR and $600 that they believed witness took due to him posting cryptic messages that led them to believe he had something to do with it. Offenders stated witness had the Glock on him and was sending threatening messages and flashing the gun in his waistline, so they took it from him because they felt threatened.
Deputies were dispatched to Kudzu Trail in reference to a domestic. Complainant was very upset and irate and seem to be under the influence of alcohol and maybe drugs. She stated offender hit her and showed a bruise on her arm. Deputy asked her for her ID, and she began to go back and forth with offender and deputies had to threaten her that is she didn’t be quiet and stop, she would be arrested. Deputy then spoke with offender who stated c/p jumped on him because he had another female at his house. It was undetermined who the primary aggressor was and determined separation mediation would be best, so he have c/p a courtesy ride to Canoochee.
January 9
Deputy responded to Oak Grove Church Rd. in reference to victim being locked out of their boarding house. Victim was highly upset and stated she had been locked out for about three hours. Victim stated she beat on the doors and windows and rang the doorbell but couldn’t’ get anybody to open the door. Deputy could not get anyone to the door so he called the phone number and could not get an answer. Finally, one of the residents opened the door.
