Randy Mae “Tennie” Rountree Mosley, age 90, passed away peacefully Monday, October 12, 2026, at Twin Trails Nursing Home in Twin City. A Celebration of Life was held Sunday, October 18, at 2:30 p.m. at Rountree Chapel Baptist Church in Twin City.
Tennie was born November 28, 1935, in Emanuel County, to the late Elton Rountree, Sr. and Rosa Lee Wright. She was a dedicated hard-working woman who spent more than 40 years working in a clothing factory and devoted several years providing home health care to others. Before retiring, Tennie worked as a cook at Kwik Pic in Twin City. She was a devoted member of Rountree Chapel Baptist Church where she was faithfully served as Choir Director and later became Mother of the Church. Mrs. Mosley is preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Orther Bell Rountree; and three sisters.
Mrs. Rountree leaves to cherish her many memories with her sisters, Mildred Rountree, of Twin City, Beverly Newton and Shirley (Jesse) Resse, both of Millen; brothers, Elton Rountree, Jr. and Richard Rountree, both of Twin City; goddaughter, Netta (Jesse) Davis of Swainsboro; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
