Helen was born August 19, 1950, to the late R.M. Holloway and Cola Ward Holloway. Mama, Nanny, and Granny were just a few of the many cherished titles she proudly held. Known for her humor, sweetness, and strong-willed spirit, she was the family caregiver and someone who always made everyone feel welcome. She dedicated her life to hard work, serving as a supervisor at Stitch and Print until her retirement at the age of 71. After a lifetime of hard work, she found great joy in retirement by spending precious time caring for her grandchildren, time in the mountains with her sisters, and making memories with the family she loved so dearly.
Family was the center of her world, and the love she had for them was evident in everything she did. She will be remembered for her hardworking spirit, her loving heart, and, of course, the Pepsi that was almost always in her hand. These simple yet special qualities were part of what made her so loved and will forever bring fond memories to all who knew her best. Mrs. Hadden is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry Hadden; brothers, David Holloway and Tim Holloway; and sister, Gail Holloway.
Mrs. Hadden is survived by her daughter, Nell Hooks (Blake) of Nunez; sons, Von Hadden (Brenda) of Swainsboro, Don Hadden (Ericka) of Kite and Lon Hadden (Nichole) of Stillmore; sisters, JoAnne Clark (Tommy), Susan Youmans (James) and Pat Mikell (Elmer), all of Stillmore; sister-in-law, Linda Holloway of Greenville, SC; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, two great-great grandsons; several nieces, nephews and many friends
