The excitement continued as the announcement of the Homecoming Queen was made. Peyton Peebles was crowned the 2026 Homecoming Queen and Ethan Fields was crowned Homecoming King.

The David Emanuel Academy football team continued its unbeaten run Friday night, putting together another explosive offensive performance to defeat Fullington Academy 68-40 and improve to a perfect 6-0 on the season.

The victory was the latest chapter in a season that has seen the Eagles find different ways to win. DEA opened the year with a 49-6 victory over Georgia Christian before battling past Citizens Christian 20-14. Since then, the Eagles have defeated John Hancock Academy 58-0, Vidalia Heritage Academy 14-0, Coastal Homeschool 50-26 and Fullington 68-40.

For the representatives, football players, king and queen, the night was a special opportunity to create lasting memories with their friends and family. The celebration demonstrated that homecoming is about more than a single event-it is a tradition that brings people together to celebrate DEA pride and community.
