Thomas Wright, escaped inmate from Twin City Detention Center, is in custody after a brief pursuit in Richmond County. Wright made it to Candler County and stole a vehicle, then traveled to Richmond County. Georgia State Patrol made contact with Wright and attempted to make a traffic stop as he fled, leading to a brief pursuit. GSP then performed a successful PIT maneuver terminating the chase. Wright is currently being held in Emanuel County Jail.
