An opening reception for artist Raven Waters was held on Thursday, November 21, at The Kalmanson Gallery of Emanuel Arts Council. A large crowd gathered to view his paintings and also enjoy refreshments provided by Miranda Mikell Events by Design. The event was free and open to the public. The EAC is located in The Karrh Arts Center at 109 N. Green Street in Swainsboro.
Waters took questions from the assembled guests, who wanted to know more about his painting style. He also told everyone that he paints every day and has done so for several years in a row.
Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday, 12 to 3 p.m. or by appointment. There are six art exhibitions every year. The Emanuel Arts Council, Inc.
