The Swainsboro Rotary Club met at The Rustic Grill on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 12 p.m. with President Zack Proctor calling the meeting to order. The club discussed the upcoming Pine Tree Festival beauty pageant and details concerning this pageant. Kristen Hall introduced the guest, Carson Cross, who discussed the Farm Bill that is being voted on soon, and the up-coming tariffs and their effect on the farm community in Emanuel and surrounding coun-ties. Carson is the son of Carson and Frances Cross from the Midville area and assists his fa-ther in running the farming operation. After several questions, the meeting was adjourned.
