Each year, in celebration of Swainsboro’s Pine Tree Festival, The Forest-Blade features The Great Pinecone Hunt for a chance for one lucky winner to win $100 after locating the 20 hidden pinecones throughout our newspaper. The winner of this year’s annual pinecone contest is Becky Williams-Rutherford. The winning check was presented by Melva Marsh, The Forest-Blade employee. Congratulations Becky!
