Libby and Jerry Caraway of Swainsboro are pleased to announce the engagement and forth-coming marriage of their daughter, Alexa Caraway, to Andrew Thompson of Swainsboro. Mr. Thompson is the son of Timothy Thompson and Jennifer Thompson of Swainsboro.
The bride-elect is a 2020 honor graduate of Swainsboro High School and a 2022 graduate of East Georgia State College with an associate of business administration. Alexa is a deputy clerk at Emanuel County Magistrate Court. Miss Caraway is the granddaughter of Kathy and Bobby Beecher of Oak Park and the late Ruby and Bennett Caraway of Swainsboro.
The future groom is a 2018 honor graduate of Swainsboro High School, 2019 graduate of East Georgia State College with an associate of arts and 2021 graduate of Southeastern Technical College with a diploma of electrical construction technology. Andrew is a construction laborer with Caraway Construction. Mr. Thompson is the grandson of Cathy Conley and the late Robert Conley of Swainsboro and Gail Thompson and the late Billy Thompson of Nunez.
The wedding is set for April 5, 2025, at Ocala Estate. A reception will follow at the same location.
