On Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at the regular meeting of the Swainsboro Exchange Club member Smith Edenfield had Mayor Greg Bennett as the speaker. Mayor Bennett gave a status update of various projects that are currently going on or that are planned in Swainsboro. Projects men-tioned included the Karrh Center (theater), a new Windham Hotel, the development of a new subdivision, new city water meters, city roads resurfacing plans, among others. He also dis-cussed the lowering of city taxes during his administration.
