Mr. Jack Thomas Sutton, 95, resident of Swainsboro, passed away Monday, March 31, 2025, at Carl Vinson VA Medical Center Hospice in Dublin. Memorial services with Military Honors will be held Friday, April 4, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Jack was born September 9, 1929, in Twin City, son of the late Tommy and Robbie Holloway Sutton. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam in the Aviation Division of the United States Army and retired with over 22 years of honorable service. Mr. Sutton is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty Sutton; brother, Roy Sutton; and sisters, Dorothy Garrettson and Jewell Weaver.
Survivors include his sons, Paul T. Sutton, John H. Sutton and Curtis F. Sutton; sister, Betty Jean Garrettson; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
