The Emanuel County Historic Society will host its Annual Meeting at Longview Farm and Home Museum on Thursday, April 24 at 7 p.m. Bring your potluck dish to share for supper. We’ll furnish drinks.
There will be a short business meeting to elect the board and officers. If you’re interested in joining our board, please let us know.
We’ll be open at 5 for browsing the grounds. Dr. John Derden will present Lafayette’s Tour Through Georgia. This is an excellent program and leads us into the 250th anniversary of the United States next year. We’re planning a project for that at the museum next fall.
