The United States will mark its 250th anniversary as a nation this year. The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution partnered with the American 250 to promote various initiatives to celebrate and support this landmark event. As part of the partnership, the Governor David Emanuel-Adam Brinson Chapter has provided educational materials on the American Revolution to local students this year. Most recently, two classroom sets of the Magic Tree House American Revolution and the companion book, Fact Finder, were donated to the fourth-grade classes of Twin City Elementary to complement the teaching of the history of the American Revolution.
