Spring begins March 20 and symbolizes new beginnings, renewal, and the return of life after the dormancy of winter. Wanda Thompson Scarboro has been excitedly waiting on her naturaliz-ing Daffodils, which multiply from year to year, to bloom on South Thompson Road. Scarboro has been working on this project for a couple of years, planting the bulbs in the fall for spring blooming. Currently there about 50 yards of daffodils in full bloom alongside the road. Her plans are to plant about 600 more bulbs this fall.
